Dr. Maria J. Alvarez has been practicing dentistry in South Florida since 1998.  She earned her Doctoral Degree on Stomatology from Havana University, Cuba in 1992.  After several years of study she graduated from New York University College of Dentistry as a Doctor of Dental Surgery.  Her commitment to service has benefited thousands of patients in the South Florida Community.
Since she started serving in the USA, Dr. Alvarez has pursued hundreds of hours of continuing dental education in practically every field of dentistry, including Endodontics, Peridodontics, Implants, Prosthetics, Operatory and Cosmetics.  She also was selected as one of America’s Top Dentist during 2008.

Dr. Jose Avila has been practicing dentistry in South Florida since 1997.  He earned his Doctoral Degree on Stomatology from Havana University, Cuba in 1994.  Dr. Avila started working in different clinics as a Dental Assistant and Dental Hygienist.  Due to his experience and abilities as a Direct Assistant Doctor at Jackson Memorial Hospital, he was selected to be part of a Residency Program from were he graduated as Doctor of Dental and Dental Surgery.

Yenivis has been practicing dentistry as a Dental Hygienist in South Florida for more than 15 years, 10 of them as part of the Dental Group of South Florida.  She graduated as a Doctor of Stomatology from Havana University, Cuba in 1993.  She has also completed and passed Part I and II of National Boards of Dentistry as part of her studies to graduate as a Doctor of Dental Surgery in the USA.  Her duties are very important to our GROUP. They are essential to our promise to improve and maintain our patient’s oral health by motivating and training patients on how brushing, flossing and plaque control are essential preventive treatments. Her invaluable functions include: routine teeth cleanings, sealings, root planning, place of arestin and educating patients on general oral hygiene. As well as assisting with the management of Medical and Dental emergencies, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontic, Periodontic, Pain control and Endodontic.
